Ursprünglich hatte Blizzard geplant die Errichtung der Garnison in allen Draenor-Gebieten zu ermöglichen. Auch eine Verlagerung in ein anderes Gebiet war geplant. Beides wurde nun verworfen wie Mumper nun auf Twitter verkündet. Nun ist es so dass die Garrison nur noch in den Startgebieten (Horde: Frostfeuergrad, Allianz: Schattenmondtal) errichtet werden kann und dort auch bleibt. Eine Verlagerung ist auch später nicht möglich.
Samm Schimke: Will players still be able to choose the zone to build their garrison? Seems hard to do if it's integral to the leveling experience
Mumper: We moved away from the choose your zone model once we realized we wanted heavily integrate the Garrison into the leveling flow.
Kristopher Smith: Oh really? What zone will the Garrison be in then?
Mumper: Horde is in Frostfire Ridge and Alliance is in Shadowmoon Valley.
Brian Crowe: Does this mean that the garrison will be moving from zone to zone but you will not have any control over it?
Mumper: No, the garrison is static in the start zones, your choices in zones will affect it though.
Samm Schimke: I'm excited for it to be a major part of the expansion; I agree that it'll be a much better execution in a controlled location
Mumper: We hope you will, but everything will unlock based on level as a fallback.
