Aktuell sind ca. 150 legendäre Items aus Legion bekannt. Für jede Klasse, Rolle oder Spezialisierung gibt es Legendarys für mehrere Slots. Da diese Boni zum Teil sehr stark und vielseitig einsetzbar sind, eröffnen sich neue taktische Möglichkeiten.
Legendarys Limit
Wie Blizzard nun mitgeteilt hat, werden wir mit dem Start von Legion nur einen legendären Gegenstand auf einmal nutzen können. Im Laufe dieser Erweiterung wird das Limit allerdings erhöht. Und dennoch möchte Blizzard nicht, dass Charaktere komplett mit Legendarys ausgestattet sind. Daher wird es auch später eine Beschränkung auf wenige Slots geben.
At the start of the expansion, only one legendary at a time can be equipped so that while extraordinarily lucky people will have more choices about which to use when, they won't be significantly more powerful than somebody that isn't quite as lucky. As the expansion progresses, the number of legendaries that can be equipped at once will go up, although still limited to a relatively small number of slots.
Legendary Drop-Chancen
Legendäre Items droppen zufällig als World-Drops in World of Warcraft. Dennoch hat man einen geringen Einfluss auf die Drop-Chance. Wie Blizzard bestätigt hat, erhöht sich die Chance auf legendären Loot, wenn man sich in gefährlichere Orte begibt.
They can come from anywhere, with more difficult content having a higher likelihood of dropping them (for equivalent time spent).
